PROGRAMME 1 – FUN DAYS
A fun-filled full day of skipping for every pupil in School! Each session includes a mixture of age and ability appropriate skills and games for Key Stage 1 and 2.
If you are considering an activity that combines fitness with fun and is totally inclusive … let us create a positive experience for all your pupils including individual and partnership skills, and long rope games. Our priority is to create an atmosphere of fun to enthuse all participants to simply ‘have-a-go’, and develop a wish to continue skipping.
We accept every school is unique … from small Village Schools to large Schools with multiple ‘year-group-entries’, therefore we will tailor the timetable for the day to your individual requirements. In principle, each class group from Reception to Year 6 will have their own dedicated session of between 30 and 40 minutes.
DEMONSTRATION
As a positive end to our fun day, we would like to incorporate a CELEBRATION ASSEMBLY to show and share the variety of skills achieved by the children from across the different age groups. This will create the stimulation for continuity of skipping activities in the weeks following and achieve appropriate sustainability.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT PACK
We will leave behind sufficient information for the introduction of a Skipping Activity Programme and Awards Scheme. This will help you to support the skill development of your pupils/students, and encourage their natural enthusiasm and willingness to succeed.
THE CHARGES FOR ALL THE ABOVE PROGRAMMES ARE BASED UPON THE SIZE OF SCHOOL, PUPIL HEADCOUNT FIGURES AND THE NATURE OF WORK COMMISSIONED.
