Feedback

At the end of all of our sessions, we ask the participants to let us have some written ‘feed-back’, and we take this constructively to add value to the delivery of future events.

Our major success in the last academic year has been in producing various “Skipping Festivals”, where hundreds of children from many different Schools in an Area come together to participate in workshops and competitions.

Here are some of the comments from North Tyneside :

From Louise Humble, Primary School Teacher in North Shields

“A fabulous project. Would love to take part in it again next year. Good for my professional development. The day was very well organised and was a great atmosphere. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and the project, and they loved the skipping as it gave them of confidence”.

Matt Beresford, Primary School Teacher in North Shields

“The project created a major benefit in fitness with the children practicing skipping at breaks and lunchtimes. Its inclusive nature allowed children who do not normally compete athletically for the School to feel part of a ‘sporting team’”

Marianne Allan, Primary School Teacher in North Tyneside

This was an excellent event and I really enjoyed learning new skills and then constructing the (skip-dance) routine with the children. Rachael, the Coach, was superb, her management and style were spot on !

Comments from 2 of her pupils …

Callum year. 5 … “I learnt something new “

Brandon year.5 … “I didn’t really think I could skip – but it was good and I could”

Dawn Atkinson, Teacher at Southlands Special School in Whitley Bay

“All pupils involved have benefited in terms of self-confidence and skill. The project has also proved to be a catalyst for re-igniting organised lunchtime activities within School, which in turn seems to be having a positive impact on social behaviour i.e. less negative incidents.”

Nora Paddison, School Sports Co-ordinator, North Tyneside

“The event ticked so many boxes – fitness, enjoyment, team spirit, challenging, fun, etc. It made the children feel ‘special’. They loved the challenges and were willing to persevere at skills and could see improvement quickly. They enjoyed working solo, in pairs, trios and groups and were eager to show their skills and offer ideas.”

We hold all testimonials within a register, and School staff who have contributed are more than willing to pass on recommendations to anybody who may enquire. Please e-mail us in the first instance stating your location, and we will endeavour to supply contact details accordingly.
